UPLIFT Ministries (UK) (referred to as us or we) is a self-supported, donation-led Christian ministry in the UK. We own and operate the website www.upliftministries.org.uk (the Website). These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors Christian blogs, devotionals, animated ecards, videos and coaching services. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

Use of the website

In order to receive our coaching services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.

 

Donations

These are the Terms and Conditions which govern each use you make of the donation payment services provided through the Website. These Terms and Conditions apply separately to each single donation that you make. By confirming on the Website that you wish to make a donation you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions for that donation.

 

Donation services

We will use your donation at our discretion but within our stated ministry objectives.

All payments through the Website are to be made by payment card or manual payments. Note that manual payments are only valid for UK transactions  (TIDE; account holder: UPLIFT MINISTRIES, sort-code: 04-06-05 account 16326104). Once you confirm to us through the Website that you wish to proceed with your donation your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider, Wix payments. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation you authorise Wix payments to request funds from your credit, debit card provider.

 

Unauthorised card use

If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider.

 

Information about you

Before we can process a donation you must provide us with (i) your name, address and email address; and (ii) details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to fund the donation. We will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information.

When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider, Wix payments, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. You should make sure that you are aware of Wix payments’s terms and conditions to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data before you make a donation.

 

Personal data

We won’t share your personal details with any other third party other than is set out in our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions and by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you are also agreeing to the way we use and protect your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

 

Refund policy

If you make an error in your donation please contact us either by email at hello@upliftministries.org.uk, by phone at +44 78 54 599 654 or by post at UPLIFT Ministries (UK), 16 Tayside close; Stenson Fields, D24 3HB within 14 days and a full refund will be made to you.

 

Regular donations

If you wish to make a regular donation, send an email to UPLIFT Ministries at hello@upliftministries.org.uk stating the amount for your donation and you will receive the necessary details.

Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify and hold UPLIFT MINISTRIES harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including solicitor’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.    

 

Modification of our Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time.

At UPLIFT Ministries, we take your privacy seriously. We want to make sure you trust that your visit on our website will be secure and safe – whether you browse pages or make a transaction to purchase one of our services online. UPLIFT Ministries uses cookies on its website. Wix booking - the widget operating the online booking for coaching sessions uses cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser, usually used to keep track of their movements and actions on a site. UPLIFT Ministries is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our coaching services to you. 

 

Transactions

When you conduct a transaction on our website, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Your personal information will be used for specific reasons such as emailing you a newsletter when you subscribe.

 

 

Mailing list

When you register for our newsletter, we collect personal information such as name, surname, email address, telephone number. We gather statistics based on email openings; links clicked that help us improve our email marketing campaigns and select topics relevant to our core audience. We use WIX Shout or MailChimp as our email marketing providers to deliver our email marketing campaigns. To find out more about MailChimp, please consult their privacy policy.

 

Why do we collect such information

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

• to engage with our visitors and send them relevant information (re newsletters, email marketing campaigns)

• to provide assistance when booking online

• to operate our coaching services (confirmation, cancellation, rescheduling of appointments)

• to create statistical data which we may use to improve our services

 

How do we store your data share and disclose our site visitors' personal information?

UPLIFT Ministries is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our coaching services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

How we communicate with our site visitors

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, or postal mail.

 

How do you use cookies and other tracking tools?

We use Google Analytics to monitor our website and collect standard internet information such as time spent on new start coaching website, number of visitors and visits etc. and details regarding visitors behaviours We do not track nor will allow Google to track your identity through your visit. This information is anonymous. We do not collect data for advertising features on Google Analytics.

Data retention: All visitors' data are retained for 26 months on Google Analytics until they are automatically deleted.
